NSDAP election poster, 1928: Break the chaines of the Dawes Plan

On 9 August 1924, representatives of the German Reich and the allies meet in Paris and sign an accord on future German reparation payments. The accord is essentially based on the recommendations of the “Dawes Plan” published on 9 April 1924. The Reichstag approves the accord on 29 August. Eventually almost half the representatives of the German National Peoples’ Party (DNVP) vote in its favour.
