International Socialist Congress in Stockholm

The International Socialist Congress begins on 2 June 1917 in Stockholm. Its delegates have only one goal: To discover possibilities for a peace treaty between the warring powers. Some governments’ leaders have prohibited their citizens from participating in the Congress, among them the French Prime Minister Alexandre Ribot.
