In compliance with its Law of Enactment the Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt Foundation has the task of organizing scientific conferences on a national and international basis. There is a full variety of possible themes since Willy Brandt was concerned about so many political, societal and economical questions through his whole life.
Usually the Brandt Foundation organizes these events in cooperation with other renowned institutions from Germany or abroad. The conferences shall not only remember of Willy Brandt's life and work, but are intended to contribute to a better understanding of current developments and make up guidelines for those who are responsible in politics.
Have a look at the tabular list of conferences, organized by the foundation.
A conference report about our last international conference "Willy Brandt and the Americas, 1974-1992" (2016, June 10-11, Berlin/ Germany) has been published in the GHI Bulletin.
